The power of the Re- Up

”Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!“

We always hear REJOICE!! Ok but what does that even mean?! Well if you see the word has RE. Re in Latin means “again”. This walk with Jesus is not a one time thing and your done. It’s a daily thing. It’s an again thing. All throughout the Bible, the prophets, disciples and Jesus talk about it. They say such things as RE- Joice, RE - Pent, RE- New. You can’t just joice once and your done. You will have no joices left! Ha! You have to re-do it everyday- again and again. It’s a daily transformation!

I remember not knowing this and wondering why one day I had so much joy one day and the next day I was completely lacking joy and peace. Paul and Jesus talks about how we have to put his words into practice. What is practice? It’s a continual process to achieve a certain goal. That’s why the best athletes are the ones who practice the most. It’s training, but remember we don’t train for just earthy things we train for the eternal. Paul talks about renewing your mind daily:

RE- Pent

Give us THIS DAY our DAILY bread

In life we can’t just do things once and expect our lives to change. It’s like Bruce Lee said” I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times” You know why? Because that’s habitual, its discipline, it’s a lifestyle. Renewing your mind is a lifestyle. God’s nature is consistency. He wants us to be like him and be consistent In our growth and progress in him and in the responsibilities he has called us to on this earth. You can’t fight tomorrows battle with todays strength. Today’s strength is for only for today. Dont be like the Israelites trying to store up the Manna. The great thing is when you continue to do it you become stronger and stronger. The more you do it, the better you become!! Let’s rejoice today! 💪🏾🔥

Action: Is there something in your life you need help in? Ask God for his wisdom and strength to overcome it today.

Renew your mind practice: Get with God into prayer, read the word and listen to some worship music.

Father God, you are glorious. thank you for all you have done in my life . I pray you give me the Bread I need today to be victorious today. We pray from victory today. Lord renew my mind to how you think, speak and act. Let everything I do today be for you. I pray all this in Jesus name. Amen 🙏🏽
