“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”

Are you seeking something from God today? I love this verse because it signifies the partnership we have with God. In the word it says we are co - creators with Christ. But many people want it given to them without asking, they want the answer to be found without seeking it and many want the the door to be opened without knocking!

Don’t let that be you! God gave you a brain, hands, and feet for a reason. Go ask today, go seek today and go knock today. The main component that stops us from taking this action is fear, fear of man, fear of what people think, fear of mistakes, fear of failure and even fear of success. But if you are reading this it is because you are called. You have gifts and talents that God has given you. The gift God gave you is free but seeing the fruition of it is going to cost you something. It’s going to cost you your pride, energy, your own fears, time and even money. Are you willing to make that trade off and sacrifice today for the future prize of tomorrow?

Some of you have a business idea you want to pitch, go call or email that investor. Some of you need to find clarity in your trauma, go search on the root causes of your trauma and many of your have doors of opportunities waiting to be opened all you have to do is knock. The biggest opportunity of all is ask God for what you need. He provides our every need and that’s a promise from God. Be encouraged and know that God knows every detail of your life many times he gives it without asking but many times it takes you asking to give it to you.

This walk takes obedience and effort. “You have not because you ask not” and “faith without works is dead” the Bible says. If you don’t have something in your life it might be because you have not asked, it’s not for you or it’s not the right timing. But don’t let any of those reasons stop you from asking God today.

Prayer

Lord God thank you for everything you have given me. I praise your name today. Thank you God for the ability to ask, the ability to seek and the ability to knock. Give me boldness and wisdom Lord on knowing what to ask for, what to seek for and where to knock. Thank you Lord for your anointing on my life. You are such an awesome God. And I am going to praise you in advance for the testimonies to come. Thank you God that my best days are ahead what I have seen in my life is nothing compared to what your about to do.
