I was on the train and it was a delayed train. It was suppose to be express but then it turned local because of signal problems. There was this man on the train that was angry, complaining and hitting his leg every-time the MTA conductor made an announcement. He was saying “The MTA is always this and that etc”

Well let me tell you something, I have gotten frustrated like that before and it ruins your energy and day. Why? words have immense power. Words have authority to either create life or death. Whatever you say is bound to happen. If you say you will have a great day, you will. If yo say you will have a bad day, you will. The thing is on this train we were going the same direction to the same destination. I was actually writing this while I was on the train lol. We are going to the same destination but he will show up agitated, distressed and angry and I will show up in peace, joy and have written a blog post to help and give insight to others. Don’t you see? Same destination different mindset. The train was taking longer than usual. What situation in your life is taking longer than usual? Finances? Finding a new spouse? Getting a new job? A breakthrough in your career? It’s all about how you wait. And when I mean wait I don’t mean do nothing. You still need to work hard and achieve results but its about HOW you wait. Are you going to wait complaining? Or are you going to take that energy and use it to increase your value in the marketplace? You always have two roads and two choices. Always choose the narrow road. Even though it’s harder in the beginning it is always way more fulfilling in the end.

What did the guy get after complaining, huffing and puffing? Nothing. What did I get from staying calm and taking advantage and writing something? ALOT. Writing this gave me another idea for another book and also more growth and insight for myself. Now I don’t think I am better than that guy or anything like that. We are all equal in the eyes of God. But I am speaking about action and principles. When you live and abide in biblical principles, you will always achieve better and more peaceful results.

Remember when you complain you remain the same.

Matthew 7:13-14

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
